(3:26 pm) – The team passed all technical inspection stages, but failed to make it to the 2:30 cutoff to the race track. Stallions car joins many other cars excluded from race due to the cut off line. Stallions team still in high spirits for finally passing technical inspection after stringent procedures.
(2:35 pm) – DLSU-D Stallions car passes final technical inspection and the race is on up next!

Prototype and Urban concept cars hit the race track as Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2015 competition begins!
SEMA 2015 welcomes about 17, 000 people at Luneta Park in Manila. The crowd can visit educational exhibit to learn more about energy challenge and Shell Fan Zone to get close to the track. They can also sketch their future vehicles ideas on post-it notes.
Bianca Gonzales won the celebrity race Friday. She recorded 57km/l on the race track.
A total of 127 students from 17 countries across Asia will be competing on SEMA 2015 until March 1. For the first time in the history, new entrants from Australia, Bangladesh, Oman and Saudi take part in the sixth edition of the student competition of SEMA.
First time participants, Saudi Arabia’s Prototype Gasoline vehicle and Austrialia’s Prototype Ethanol entry, were the first cars to have cleared tech inspection.
All the teams have until today to record their attempts on the race track. Final tabulation of the scores will be announced in the awarding today.
