US, gov’t work in monitoring threat of ISIS in Philippines and Southeast Asia
The US is in cooperation with the government in monitoring the threat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
US Ambassador Philip Goldberg said the rhetorical support of the Abu Sayyaf, Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters and Ansar al-Khalifa to ISIS might become a danger to the country or the region, speaking at the Pandesal Forum in Quezon City. The world is facing terrorists using social media and other means of communication to link groups and ideologies in many places, Goldberg added.
Construction Worker buried alive in Marikina
A construction worker was buried alive when the earth devour him while digging a poso negro at a construction site in Marikina city.

Abaya negligent for MRT mess

Man faces 2-year imprisonment for spamming millions of messages
A man from Pennsylvania, US was sentenced to two years in prison after sending millions of illegal spam messages to computers and mobile phones to different parts of the world.
US District Judge Maurice Cohill said that the Philip Fleitz, 31, has pleaded guilty in violating US Can Spam of 2003 that protects computer and mobile users from unwanted marketing and email and text messages with pornographic material.
