DWSU 95.9 GREEN FM, also known as La Salle Radio, is the university radio station of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
DWSU 95.9 GREEN FM – La Salle Radio is found on the frequency modulation (FM) band 95.9 kHz with a transmitter power of 10-20 watts and an estimated signal reach of three kilometer radius. The station call letters DWSU was assigned by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) when the station started operating as La Salle Radio in August 2005.
DWSU 95.9 Green FM is an educational radio station operated by the Communication and Journalism Department (CJD) under the College of Liberal Arts and Communication.
The university radio station is directly supervised by CJD faculty Aurora Quadra-Balibay with a team of student managers. The programming is designed to serve the Lasallian community even while reaching out to neighboring towns in Cavite, and a global audience via its online platform.
Boardwork is shared among the Green FM Radio Team, Green FM apprentices, student interns, radio production classes and university personnel hosting their own radio programs.
